Reading & writing shouldn’t feel like a daily battle.

Let’s help your child find success.

You want your child to be the confident, bright, creative, and amazing version of him or herself you know in your heart that he or she truly is...

The Right Support Changes Everything

You don’t have to watch your child struggle with reading and writing, feeling frustrated and defeated. With the right intervention, they can build the skills—and confidence—they need to thrive.

At Ascend, we provide personalized literacy intervention designed to meet your child where they are and guide them toward success.

Maybe you feel like you’ve tried everything, but nothing seems to make a difference.

You’ve seen the impact—your child’s confidence is fading, and it’s not just reading that’s suffering. Struggles with literacy are spilling over into science, social studies, and math, making school feel even harder.

You’ve asked teachers for help, hired tutors, and spent hours researching the next steps. But the advice is conflicting, and despite all your efforts, progress feels out of reach.

Deep down, you know something isn’t right. Reading shouldn’t feel this hard.

The good news? We know exactly what struggling readers need to succeed.

Research is clear on the type of instruction that works—but unfortunately, most struggling readers aren’t receiving it.

That’s where we come in.

With the right tools and approach - struggling students can meet and exceed the demands of the classroom, while eliminating the extreme stress caused by academic struggle.

How does it work?

We make the process simple and focused on your child’s success. Our Reading & Writing Learning Program includes a 3 step process:

1. Understand Your Child’s Needs

We start by getting to know your child—their strengths, challenges, and unique learning style.

2. Create a Personalized Plan

Together, we’ll design a step-by-step plan tailored to address your child’s specific needs and goals.

3. See the Progress

As we implement the plan, you’ll see your child grow in confidence, skills, and happiness.

Especially if you’ve tried tutors or other support in the past and it hasn’t worked.

This is exactly why we provide ongoing data tracking. We pride ourselves on our results-driven, student-centered approach. We will monitor student progress daily and guarantee we will communicate with you immediately if we aren’t seeing expected results. Not only can you expect to see growth on standardized assessments, but you can absolutely expect to see growth in your child’s abilities and confidence.

Especially if you’re worried that maybe nothing is wrong and your child will outgrow his or her reading difficulty.

About 20% of the population has a different wiring of the brain (nothing is bad or wrong…it’s just like being left-handed) and needs a different approach to learning how to read. If your child struggled at any point in learning how to read, there is a high likelihood that he or she would benefit from a structured, systematic approach. While some students may be “back on track” by the end of each school year - it is likely that as he or she continues to progress through the grade levels reading and writing struggles will persist in different ways.

Wouldn’t it be better to get him or her the help he or she needs so that you can be certain you’ve done everything you can to make your child’s success a reality?

Especially if you’re not sure what to expect.

We promise to be upfront with you in what our programming will look like, how the lessons will be structured, and what type of skills your child will be learning. We will involve both you and your child every step of the way because there’s nothing worse than spending time and money and crossing your fingers that what’s happening during the sessions is working because you’re left in the dark about what’s happening.
